If you’ve experienced childhood trauma, neglect, or emotional disconnection, you may still carry the weight of those early relationships into your adult life. You might struggle with trust, emotional closeness, or feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapy is designed to help you gently explore those early experiences and begin the healing process in a safe, supportive space.
This approach focuses on the impact of early relationships—especially with caregivers—and how they shape the way we see ourselves, manage emotions, and connect with others. It’s especially helpful if you've felt unseen, unsafe, or emotionally alone in your past.
In therapy, you’ll:
- Build a strong, trusting relationship with a therapist who offers consistent support and understanding
- Learn tools to manage overwhelming emotions and feel more in control of your responses
- Understand how past relationship patterns may be affecting your present life
- Process trauma in a way that feels safe and empowering, using approaches like EMDR or DBR
- Begin to experience new, healthier ways of connecting—with yourself and others
Attachment-focused therapy isn’t just about looking back—it’s about moving forward with more clarity, confidence, and connection. It’s a space to heal, grow, and discover that secure, supportive relationships are possible—starting with the one you build in therapy.
